Its a process that is already going on. For example newspapers being replaced by their online version,

which saves tons of trees. Also downloadable mp3 music

which is replacing the CD. and which reduces the earnings of  musicians and has destroyed the industry almost.

Downloadable free movies will gradually replace the Hollywood movies which will cease being made

because of this.

In other areas real accountancy services are being savaged

by the outsourced variety, because it is far cheaper. Then there's children's tuition (the online sort) not to mention sub-editing etc etc.
