Do you think of yourself as a FAN or a FANATIC?

fan= cheering for your favorite and not talking bad about the others

fanatic= psycho over your favorite and don't know why, would throw beer if your driver loses?

I guess I'm in between the two. I cheer for Jeff Gordon with everything that I have. However, I would never throw a beer. Am I psycho? I guess I'd have to have people vote on that.

Under your definition I would have to go for Fan. I cheer for my favorite and try not to talk bad about other driver's.

I really am a fanatic though cause every thing centers around Nascar.  I can't make weekend plans till I know when the race is.

I am a fan.  I don't know that I completely agree with your descriptions of the fan and fanatic.  I think that fanatics are passionate and I am that.  But I wouldn't  throw cans on the track.  So I guess I am a fan cause I ain't no psycho.

When the season starts, I will watch every race, do bets, etc. But then, I will find myself not watching every race, not talking about it much, etc.

So I will call myself a fan.

well joey logano i have never thrown a beer at another driver..... so i say i am a fan! i really don't have a problem with other drivers........ i used to not like gordon, but hey i can around to liking him now...... fanatic, i say i kind of am...... because i will let someone talk bad about tony stewart, like the weight, anger, or any other issues they have about him...... but i really dont know guess nascar nation will have to tell me if i am a fan or a fanatic?

When the season begins, I consider myself a fanatic, but halfway through, a fan. I have the bad habit of getting bored, or they mix up the days of the races from Saturdays to Fridays, etc, which mess me all up, or I get to the point that if I have to watch a Busch brother win one more race, I will pull all of my hair out!!

I am a nascar fan, all the way! Am buying a new house, and the bar downstairs is all nascar stuff!! My hubby and i wanna try to get all the driver hats and hang them around the rec-room, bar area!! Cant freakin wait!!

On the other hand, i would also consider myself a Kasey Kahne fanatic!! Everytime i see him on t.v, i say helloooo, like he can hear me... and i get all excited...lmao

I would never throw beer cans or anything! When Kasey crosses the finish line in a crappy position, i just yell at my t.v!!

I'm a fan.  I talk bad about other drivers occasionally but I respect everyone.

EDIT:  I named my son Chase, I guess that makes me a little more than a fan, lol!
