  1. minimum 3 times per week. Ideally 3-4 hours of training per day.

  2. Once a week is better than nothing. But, it is recommended to practice at least three times a week. I practice five times a week.

  3. Just to give you a sense of how much once a week is:

I practice twice a week, about 3 hrs each time. I've been doing judo for about 10 years. I participate and place in national competitions but haven't yet taken the Gold.

Also, along with experience is the effort you put into your practicing and your activities outside of judo. Consistency and persistence are probably the most important toward practicing right.

    Good luck!

  4. Slowly but surely, just be sure to remember the techinque well, and put 110% into it, it will be long yes but if thats all ur schedual can handle and if thats what u want, go for it

  5. I go with the theory that you need to practice something 10,000 times before it sticks.

10x a day, every day = just over 3 years

    10x a day, once a week = about 22 years.

So, if you practice every day then you should be OK.  If you only practice when you go to class, glaciers will move faster.

  6. Depends on what you feel good progress is. At 1 class a week, you will attend 52 classes a year, whereas others will have attended 150 to 250 a year.

If you set realistic goals and priorities according to your schedule, 1 class a week is absolutely fine.
