What is illegal (for Americans) is moving the money around.  Therefore, if you continue to try to do it, you will be dealing with shady operators who are taking a very loose interpretation of the law.

no i don't . i think it helps people hone their skills and prepares them for professional poker.  i myself have learnt alot from online poker sites.
