I think that orange lipstick would look tacky on anyone. If you mean a faint, coral, glossy color, I think that, too looks tacky... If you are fair skinned it looks like your lips are burned, if you are tanned, it pulls out the orange in your skin and makes you look like you used a cheap selftanner.

Go for pink or red.
