Do you think our governments are dumping trash and chemicals into the ocean? Do you have examples of this?

I thinking specifically of large quantities that are illegal to dump; but are being dumped anyway?

for example....

if one throws chemicals in land the "chemicals" will go down the land or soil which is water so the water is contaminated then the water will go to the ocean...it will be contaminated also...

I'm sure a lot of countries do, but most of them bury it in the bottom of the ocean. The United States for example puts toxic waste that is no longer radioactive in the bottom of the ocean where it won't be resurface for millions of years.
