Do you think outside the bun?

I have been craving some Taco Bell:)

As often as possible, I don't!  I used to like Taco Bell, and I still think it tastes okay, but it makes me sick!  I documented five times in a row of eating there and getting the most awful stomach cramps as a result.  Not severe enough to limit me, but persistent enough to put me in a sour mood.  I try to eat the healthy alternatives whenever I can, and I'll usually eat the fruit salad from McDonald's with yogurt and granola and the side salads at Wendy's instead of fries.  I also gave up soda, and stomachaches are a rarity for me these days.

I think outside the bun but I don't eat taco bell.  I live in NJ which is very ethnically diverse, and a good byproduct of that is that there are a lot of different ethnic restaurants and ethnic take outs.  The hispanic sections of Dover, Morristown, and New Brunswick have some great take out restaurants where one can get more for his money than Taco Bell.

That is funny that we talk in slogans and commercials!  I love me some taco bell!  Do you remember the bell beefers?  They were soooooo good!  I miss them

You are not the only one!

For some reason the 7 layer, burrito sounds really good right now.  Alas there isn't one nearer than 20 miles.

OK so I know that some as not “real” Mexican food think Taco Bell.

Nevertheless, the way I look at it; In Mexico every region you go to has its’ own cuisine.  If you order a taco in one area, it may come out looking like what in the US would be a burrito. In Baja, it may be just meat with maybe peppers and onions, along the gulf coast it may come with potatoes & carrots.  For me, I consider Taco Bell as kind of like being from a northern region of Mexican cuisine.  Taco Bell is even opening restaurants now in of all places, Mexico!

My daughter was around 3 or 4 when they started with that slogan.  She thought they said, "Think out by the barn".  She went around saying that all the time.  Confused a lot of people!  Now she won't eat at Taco Bell because we went there one time and they put lettuce on her taco when she requested one with no lettuce.  She says she gave them one chance and they blew it.  Sorry Taco Bell.
