  3. Seems to me that people aren't allowed to smack there kids in public cause someone will see them and call the cops.. as a kid if we did something wrong, we got our butts smacked and we learned what to do or what not to do..

  4. Well I would have to go with C.  I want them to know I'm boss but I usually don't follow through. That's why they're brats and don"t respect authority.

I was smacked when I was a kid and it didn't kill me.

  5. i would say smacking their kids is alright as long as its not to the point of tears for the kid just a little smakc on the head  i would say its ok.P.s. i would say that hitting is ABSOLUTLEY A LAST RESORT ONLY IF THE KIDS IS TRULLY A BRAT,DISOBEYS AND DISRESPECTS

    Come on, guys.

Children are extremely impressionable. They pick up everything in their surroundings, that is, what they see and ESPECIALLY what other people do to them. So it should not come as a surprise when kids who've been hit tend to be way more aggressive (the bad way not the good way) than their non-smacked counterparts.

Do you know what it feels like? It's not only physical, but emotional. Sometimes the kid feels that the parent doesn't love them. In a kid's simplified logic, people don't hurt each other if they love them.

It leaves them feeling resentful and rebellious. Animals are trained to associate pain with unwanted actions, but are children animals? Sure, kids will fear the parent, but they still don't know why what they did is wrong.

Besides, punish to teach, not because of your angry feelings. Fear is a crappy teacher.

  7. h**l yea you should, just dont be happy about it, that would just s***w the kid up

  8. a little fear is not a bad thing.  sometimes you need to really get their attentio with a smack here and there. and the kids need to know the possibility exists.

  9. e

  10. b

  11. spanking, not a slap in the face. You should however try time out, or face in the corner.

  12. Choice B. It all depends how you do it. The way you discipline your children also helps determine what kind of individual they will turn out to be in the future.

Everyone needs to have manners, regardless if they are a child or not.
