So parents who put work above their own kids shouldn't be raising kids. A child needs their parents, not a nanny. I believe it is very selfish.

  1. Selfish, maybe.  Rich, definitely.

  2. In my personal opinion there should always be a parent home with the child.  Why have kids if you are going to let others raise them?!

  3. No it just means that thy have 2 work or have some things that thy need 2 do and its easier 2 do those things without worrying about their kids

  4. Absolutely not! It means that they want to provide the best for their children. How could that possibly be selfish?

I am a nanny, and I am very proud of what I do. My little one is very special to me, and I am seen as a member of her family in her parents eyes.

And, you do not have to be 'rich' in order to afford great child care. Daycare centers are quite pricey, and they have too many kids in one 'class'. There is never one on one attention.

  5. No, some parents have to work.
