  1. Well, we pay that much for it, but we listen to it more than just for a show.

If you feel it is a waste of money, consider how important that show is to you. Or, listen to actual stations or stuff.

  2. Absolutely, I would NEVER pay for radio...

  3. Some (like myself) think it's cheap, especially if you spend a great deal of time in the car. I prefer XM, but they're essentially the same. When the two companies merge there will be even less expensive options. Both services have information about the new rates on their websites.

For those who say they would NEVER pay for radio, you already do when listening to a local commercial station. They play commercials, you listen or at least sit through them. That's time. Time is money. So, obliquely, you're paying.

  4. Too much for what I consider limited content.... If Xm and sirius would merge and offer everything for $12 then I'd be sold.. until that happens, there are many things taking it's place including stuff like slacker that lets you download a playlist that is more tailored to you with no announcers and no commercials for less money....

  5. I like the Sirius radio. And not just because they do not play commercials you hear new songs first ,they play other songs on the CD rather than the ones that you know, they play the classics that you do not get to hear a lot However if it is a choice between eating ot your radio than I would say 12 dollars is too much.

  6. Personally, I'm not paying to listen to the radio, commercial free or not.  If I want uninterrupted music, I'll throw in one fo the few hundred CDs I have downloaded and burned and listen to it or plug in my MP3 player.
