Do you think people from Philly are similar or different than people from NYC?

I mean, reputation, not actual people ... I know this involves stereotyping.

No...Philadelphians are better!!!..lol

we got more heart and pride, plus NYC is more international then philly , they have more different types of people there, we got the basics

some ways were simular other ways were not...it really depends..

born and raised in philly and proud of it!

Different- I find them completly different.  People from Philly have a bit more "hick' to them, also they are more conservative

No Philly people are way meaner. especially at sporting events if you are there rooting fr the other team, they will throw stuff at you spit on you

Philadelphia sports fans are notorious.

Philadelphians also have a reputation for being violent. There is a high crime rate, and the city has been nicknamed Killadelphia.

I would say the people are less focused on international issues and more focused on local issues than the people in NYC.

Also, less educated and more religious than the people of NYC.

Stereotyping is defined as a false or misleading categorization. I would say that overall people originally from Philadelphia are mostly under-educated, unsophisticated and far less image conscious than those from NYC...not stereotyping, fact. Other than that, pretty similar.
