Question:

Do you think people would think I was a Panic obsessed freak if I used a quote from them for a project?

For World Civ we have to come up with a quote that means something to us, and I really like this one from Panic at the Disco "I know the worlds a broken bone; but melt your headaches, call it home." I'm not like obsessed with Panic at the Disco though, I only like a couple of their songs. Do you think people would think I'm like an obsessed PATD fangirl if I chose that for my quote?

  1. If you have to use a quote, use what you want.  Don't care about what other people think, it will only lead to a sense of self-worthlessness.  Besides, if you don't make a huge deal about it, people won't care.  Would you think of someone as an "obsessed freak" if they used a quote from Churchill (or anyone else, for that matter)?

  2. No, I'm sure they wouldn't.

And besides, if they did what would be the harm?

It's what you like and you shouldn't be ashamed of that.

And by the way, I adore that quote too, in fact all of their new album.

  3. No, most people wouldn't know it and the ones that do love the song anyway.
