Do you think postmen hate ebay? Do you feel guilty about postman carring your heavy/bulky ebay stuff?

Mine always seems a bit grumpy at the amount of bulky or heavy stuff I get he has to deliver to my house.... all my ebay purchases.

Before ebay it was mostly letters for them... but now they've got their carrycases also loaded with bulky items. I feel bad about it but what can you do when you can sometimes get real bargains on ebay compared to shop prices.

I would have thought postmen would be grateful.  If it wasn't for companies selling over the Internet.  I suspect the postal service would be on its knees by now, with the amount of e-mails being written instead of normal letters.

pity mr postman has to do his job..it's what they have to do for work and get paid..

im an ex postie and i can assure you we dont mind delvering parcels its what the job entails and also if an item is too large it gets delivered by van.

They better not hate ebay.  If it weren't for packages, the postmen would be out of work.  No one sends letters anymore.

I know I always feel really bad too, especially when its raining and the postman has to stand outside the door for a couple of minutes while i run around trying to find some clothes to put on ( my postman comes at 7.30am)

Postmen get paid to deliver your stuff, whether it is a letter or a huge package!!  They chose their profession, if they don't like it the can always get a new job.

Just think your packages and letter keep your grumpy postman in a job.

get your postie a few beers at christmas as a thank you, you'll be amazed that the grumpiness just disappears!

Anyway, my postie would have to be very grumpy to be grumpier than me when he wakes me with a package!
