Just a theory of mine, but if we stopped sunday opening of shops and 24 hour shops and stuff there would be alot less fuel consumed in Britain? we used to get by without it so why can't we now?, let the fat cats like asda, tesco etc,,, take this sh*t on the chin like the rest of us , h**l they're profit margins can feed great britain alone for one year.

  1. Great idea!

  2. I THINK ALL SHOPS MUST SORCE THERE PRODUCTS WITHIN A CERTAIN RADIUS WHY THE h**l WE GO ABROAD TO BRING CERTAIN FRIUT AND VEG.. WHEN WE GROW IT HERE,I KNOW ITS ABOUT PRICE BUT ITS  PROFIT NOT BEST PRICE TO US.. GREED

  3. mien fuhrer!

  4. I work nights and am very grateful for 24 hour shop as I often finish work at midnight and am able to get some proper food from my local 24 hours Asda. In fact it annoys the c**p out of me that they shut at 4:30 on a Sunday because it means I have to pick up some greasy fast food on my way home!

And anyway wouldn't everyone who gets weekends off simply ALL go on a Saturday instead of Sunday? It wouldn't save any fuel,it would simply make Saturdays h**l in the Supermarkets

I like your intentions just not your plan!

  5. Unfortunately people are greedy and want more money and more hours means more business= more money..

those days are gone...same problem in the USA

  6. I agree, they would just have to make do with it like the rset of us!

Its because of them that we'd hardly have any petrol because we where going there!

  7. Yeah! Let's go back to the three day week, even. Remember the good ole power cuts of the seventies?!
