  1. No. Community colleges always advertise.


  2. I don't think it is a scam but you have to be careful because their courses are not always likely to transfer your credit hours to other colleges and schools. Also I have heard from a few employers that while a person might learn somethings at those school they don't think of them as higher education. Just make sure you do your research before committing to a school.  

  3. The classes they have can also be taken from a community college, cheaper, and the credits will transfer to a 4 year college -  if you choose that path.   My personal opinion is that everest is a waste of money.

    Edit: I did not say they were a community college- I said anything they offer could be taken at most community colleges- geesh.

  4. Well the website says it's accredited but it won't say with whom, so yea it's probably a bit of scam.  Not a true scam, in that they probably deliver some of what they promise, but a scam in that they probably have worthless degrees.
