Do you think "Keeping Up Appearances" is satire but not the New Yorker cartoon?

In movies, cartoon, photos, or literature, the object of the satire is featured, not buried in the footnotes in fine print. The real question to me is what was the editors', owners, and lawyers didn't make a mistake. Their true motive is not to spoof "dumb rednecks" opposed to Obama. Nope, that is wrong. A cover story in case this attack was exposed. I know where they are coming from - it is the Mideast.

  1. The New Yorker cartoon is too close to the truth to be pure satire.

  2. It was an attack because there are so many out there who 1. haven't got the brains for this propaganda (soft heads)

    2. Are easily swayed politically.

So nothing in the US presses is for fun
