Do you think rich harden has answered his health issues, or does he have more to prove?

Harden has made his last 18 scheduled starts in a row and recently said in an interview that he has found a routine that has worked for him. I think (and this is probably nit-picking on my part) the only question he has left is his ability to go deep into ball games. I think he does, but lou piniella rarely lets him throw over 100 pitches (his last start he threw 94 pitches in 7 innings and lou yanked him from the game). So i think if lou turns him loose and hes able to stand 100 pitches or so in multiple outings, then i think all the health questions should be answered.

  1. He's doing a lot to end the criticism of him being too fragile.  I still think that if he can stay healthy for a whole season than all of those questions will be answered for me.  I do agree I would like to see him going deeper into starts..well, I wouldn't like it right now because I'm a Brewer fan..but you know what I mean..it would be better for the Cubs and their fans if he can go deeper.  I think that Lou is being smart with him though.

  2. no because he still hanst pitched 2 straight seasons in a row

  3. He hasn't proven himself. He was hurt at the beginning of the year. Until Harden has a couple of years of clean health then I will consider him a Ace and a capable pitcher.

  4. i think he has, i agree with you, lou should let him throw more pitches and go deeper into ballgames but he isnt going to do that especially with the playoffs a month away he isnt going to take that chance of him getting injured, he would rather take 6 solid innings then him not starting at all

  5. They ar trying to not hurt his arm Honestly; when he would injured i believe it was more of a Mental thing
