  1. Not all the time.

  2. no, not always. they just have better stuff and more debt..

  3. YES they are

  4. I certainly think that rich people are happier, more so when they see beggars on the streets and their miserable life style.

  5. Absolutely not they are human too and face same issues as anyone else. Money just buys them material things to camouflage they are never happy in my opinion why they seek so much attention trying to fit in!

  6. I have hardly any money coming in and just getting there on the money we have but I could not be happier. You don't need money to be happy just those and things which mean to you. Like family and friends.

  7. Definitley....I have been on both sides and I can say that richer is better! :):)

I think its because I have struggled endlessly before and now I am financially secure I do feel better.

  8. It depends..look how many succesfuly celebrity are going through depression or suicide. Then again look a poor christian and they are as happy as can be. I think it probably balance itself out. Nobody is more happier /rich or poor.

They did a movie on Lifetime about these 2 girls switched life. One was a hard worker lived on a farm w/ hardly any money and envended the rich girl that had everything. The rich girl evened the poor girl b/c she always had her family around and cared about being involved in her life. (The rich girl's parents were always off making money and wasn't there for their girl)

  9. When I had more money life seemed a bit better, not having to watch what was spent as closely. At the same time, most of my inheritance is now spoken for with uni costs, etc. So I am not as freely able to spend because there wasn't that much in the first place.

To the degree I had versus now not having quite as much I would say that I am was no more or less happier then than now. I am just happy enough to get along.

I suspect poverty would create a hellishness far worse than can be imagined unless one were living it.

  10. No, not necessarily happier.  I too have been both well off and comparatively poor.  Certainly money opens up opportunities but rich people have life problems just as the poor do.  I would rather be poor and with the right person and rich with the wrong one.

  11. No.  The rich people can only think of the next thing to get with their money.  There is never enough. You also have to worry about friends and family hanging around just because you have money.  Money buys stuff, not happiness.

  12. I always thought the rich were miserable arseholes who need to smile more. Look at everything they have, everyone else who works like 5 jobs seem happier than they are, so i think poor people, because you just have to get on with what you have,no time for sulking.

  13. No, I don't think they are. There are many things you can't buy, obviously. Maybe their life is a bit easier, but everybody has problems. The important thing is to be able to enjoy what you have and be able to share. I think it all depends on your attitude.

  14. not necessarily.

poor people are not financially happy but they may have other kind of happiness in their life, such as love, family and friends. rich people may be happy financially since they have no problem with getting the  material wants that they desire, but they might be unhappy on other things such as love, family, real friends (out of money interest) and health problems that have no cure with money, knowing that you can afford it if there was an existing cure. so money does not have to do with happiness, its the feeling inside, either you feel empty or full and sometimes half way.

  15. Not necessarily.  Rich people can miss out on the experience friendship.  Often poorer people in countries like South America experience real family and friendship.
