Do you think ruzzo is that bad of a wrestling booker/writer?

I mean back in the 90's he did a good job with the whole austin 3:16 and dx ideas.He may of made mistakes in wcw by playing the big names to much, but thats what he was used to having to do in the wwe.He did a good job of promoting the cruiserwieghts division in wcw.

Agreed.Vince Russo did a great jiob in the 90's era WWF as he storylined Stone Cold vs Vince, Taker vs Kane and DX vs The Corporation among others.He's partly responsible for WWF winning back the Monday Night Wars with his booking style.The trouble in WCW was that he was working to Ted Turner and Eric Bischoff's vision of how WCW should be produced.Car crash style tv on Nitro,shoot style wrestling  matches, title turnover changes and booking celebrity names like David Arquette all did Russo's rep no favors at all.

It's funny because since Russo has become Head Writer on TNA, the promotion has consistently become more popular than it's ever been.His ideas of the Ultimate X, Elevation X and the World X Cup have all been good for TNA aong with his decision to start up the Knockouts division.Russo has also been campaigning for the Knockouts own tv show on Spike and TNA are already in talks about the possibility.Vince Russo is an excellent storyliner when he doesn't have to work to someone else's idea of a wrestling show.

No, he has come up with very innovative and creative ideas for the WWF and TNA. In WCW, he didn't have much freedom because there was so much politicking going around backstage. You had almost all the veterans trying to run the show. Plus, he had restrictions from In TNA, he does re-use old gimmicks and storylines from his days in the 90s every so often, but I still like what he's doing with TNA.

He did a good job in the 90's but some of it was due to Vince keeping him under control.  In WCW he was let loose with little or no control.  I believe he also let his success in WWE get to his head.

While he promoted the cruiserwieghts that dvision never truly got over with the fans.
