According to NASA, there are 3,000 satellites and 6,000 other pieces of space junk orbiting earth. does anyone think that much metal and other materials has any effect(minimal or significant) on ultraviolet rays coming in or going out of our atmosphere?

  1. No, space is way too big for that.  Think of it this way: scatter 3000 buses around the entire surface of the planet (although most satellites would be smaller than that), do you think they'd make any difference to global temperatures?  The Earth is too big and the satellites too small.

  2. No, satellites are too far above the Earth and too scattered to have a significant impact on the climate.

  3. No. I don't think so because space is too big and besides they're all scattered around.
