Do you think scene is cool?

okay i wanted to know what people think of scene . be descriptive, and tell me what you do like about it and if you dislike tell me what is so bad about it. answer with most description will earn 5 star, and will get best answer

It depends.

I think it suits some people, who are really into it, like music and stuff, but others are just posers and get "scene" hair and I think that's annoying.

But people can dress/have their hair how they want, so it doesn't matter really =]

i think that the hairstyles and makeup, although heavy, looks really pretty

the scene kids at my school (im a senior in college)  are very angry and look very unaproachable but im sure not all of them are like that. my friends gf is scene and she does really outrageous makeup but it looks good on her (she matches her makeup to her tattoos and piercings and it looks good. she gets so angry about people who just want to look scene and she freaks out about individuality...yet her and her friends all look exactly the same.... interesting

to each his own.. i could never pull off the look but if someone likes it and it suits them then i say go for it... just dont go for it because u see alot of other people looking "scene"

and correct me if im wrong but isnt scene more about music and self expression? not eyeliner and teased hair?

No, not at all for these reasons:

1. They are antiprom, anti popular culture because they say they don't like being influenced by other people. Yet, they dress exactly the same, listen to the same music etc.

2. The style is kind of wierd, IMHO.

3. Guys and eyeliner just don't mix. Unless its Orlando Bloom.

4. They are often sullen and quiet and not much fun.

This is in my opinion though.

Scene sux... BAD

Scene people always go on about being different, and being creative, and being yourself...  BUT the stereotype of "scene" is so specific to what you have to be to be called scene, that really, no one is really scene.  It's impossible for there to be so many freakin people who are EXACTLY the same.
