Do you think shawn johnson will win a olympic gold medal?

hey guys , shawn is a amazing gymnast and should be really proud of two silvers. but im wondering do you think first she will win a gold by the end of these olympics she has two more chances(she has the floor and beam finals) and even if she doesent do you think sheel be back for 2012.

btw i am very happy for her and nastia both are gorgeous and super athletes, their also great freinds and roomates so it must be a amazing feeling.

at her age, she really is amazing but scores are out,

nastia had indeed performed grace under pressure.

I think she will take Gold on the floor tomorrow, possibly bars and beam but I'm thinking Nastia will be better on those two but it is hard to tell because both do great on bars and beam (and even on the floor but I think Shawn's floor routine is more difficult so she may have it there).  It really all depends on if tomorrow is a good day for her or not-I hope it will be.

Unless she has an accident/injury, or decides to give up the pursuit of the medals in 2012 for a more acedemic route, I can see her coming back for another try.

Julie - if you are talking about the youngest out of the team then no, that isn't Shawn, that girl is just a few months younger than Shawn.  Shawn is the short one who said she supported Alicia and that even though she made mistakes, she is still family, still part of team USA :)

How old is Shawn? Someone spoke to all the girls and then zoomed in on one, I can't remember who she was. The interviewer mentioned that she was the youngest and asked her if she will come back in the next summer Olympics(like she was the only one that would be young enough).

The gymnast's competing life is short, it is rare that they compete much past 20 or 22.
