Do you think she'll accept our offer?

We're offering full price, but we are asking her to pay closing costs and having a down payment assistance, which will end up costing her a total of $11,000. The house is $190,000 and she just bought it last year. What do you think? She's moving because she met someone online and wants to move out of state...

  1. Only she can say, after her closing cost and the commissions she is selling for about 162,000, she may not be able to sell this low.

  2. The weakest buyers always ask for "closing cost help" and it is a warning sign to sellers.  The FHA down payment assistant programs were ended Tuesday so i hope you have a different idea.  Anyway, you can easily buy this house.  If the seller doesn't get any other offers, you will be moving in 30 days. .

  3. aren't there tax breaks for closing costs and things?  if she is smart and was figuring on coming down on her asking price somewhere in the range of what the closing costs will run her, she would be smar to take the offer considering there are federal tax breaks for closing cost fees on your income taxes.......
