Do you think shopping at a thrift store makes you any less of a person?

Because people look at you weirdly if you mention that you shop there. But not everyone can afford other places. And thrift stores contain actually descent things. Like clothing from top notch stores, plus they are good for vintage things. I guess they intrigue me, but everyone seems to look down on me because of it.

  1. Not at all.  If anything, it makes you a smart shopper. :]

And I totally agree, you find the most interesting things in thrift stores.  I have bought things from local shops around my town that I know I could never possibly get from a mainstream store.

  2. There is nothing wrong with that other people are dumb because they spend more than u do and u can buy a lot at thrift store who cares about what other people think Be yourself

  3. No,it doesn't i have found some great items that I normally would not purchase at full retail, for some reason, some people think if something they have costs more than yours , than it is better, stretch a dollar anyway you can, don't let others make you feel inferior, because in this great game of life, is any of that something that truly matters/

  4. Not to worry. A large percentage of people that shop at thrift stores are rich. That's how they got that way. I buy things there and no one seems worry about it one way or another, besides, you can find things there that are unavailable in retail stores.

  5. I love thrift stores even when I do have money to go to the mall I still lke to get clothes from thrift store
