Yes but with restrictions.  It should be allowed in private areas.  Not in public.  You should be allowed to smoke it out of the convience of your home or designated area.  DUI laws should apply for marijuana as they do for alcohol or any other substance as should public intoxication laws.  There should be strict age limits like 21 and older.  In other words, I believe the same restrictions put on alcohol should be the same for marijuana.  I don't understand why the government would not allow this considering they can regulate sales and profit from the industry. For those who need it for medical conditions the same rules should apply, only a perscription must be presented to authorities if a legal issue should arise.

I think it should be. There's less danger in using marijuana than any other drug, including tobacco and alcohol. Alcohol is legal because of the money it generates.. can you imagine what would happen to all sports leagues, clubs, casinos, bars, hotels, strip clubs if alcohol were made illegal again? the government would lose Billions in tax dollars and jobs, not to mention the amount of drunk driving tickets and arrests the police make, that's probably tens of millions per state. Marijuana doesn't have that cemented social stature that alcohol has so they illegalize it, that's the way this bullsh!!t Christian government works, it's pathetic.

You cannot overdose on marijuana, it hurts the lungs and heart less than cigarettes do and it has no chemical additives, and eases dozens of aches and pains. Legalizing marijuana is something I support for one reason... to many young minority kids are having their records destroyed before 18 for having bullsh!!t amounts of weed on them, this is ridiculous, not to mention all the 'crime' it produces, which is usually nothing more than a group of kids in a park after dark smoking, big f*ckign deal, that should cost you a job 10 years later? I think not. Also if it were legalized, entire violent drug dens would be eliminated as those involved will slow down with selling coke and turn towards marijuana. I bet if you did a serious investigation you'd find out marijuana was less dangerous than 95 percent of the pills being pushed on the American public today.

Of course it should be legal.  Imagine all the wasted time and money they spend, just because someone wants to get high.  I don't smoke weed, but I smoke cigarettes, and when I do I get a little light headed and unsteady on my feet.  I know, I'm a nicotene lightweight, but I could go get on the road in that condition and no one could say boo.  And I know people that drive better high than I do when I'm sober.  It has to do with when hemp was illegal, because the rope companies didn't want competition.  It's a stupid law that wastes time and money, and you can even tell when you fill out the FAFSA for college.  It asks if you have drug convictions, but then says to exclude marijuana convictions.  Even they know it's BS.

It should be legal . it is a piece drug . The Indians used it . the drugs they prescribe now are alot worse on people that marijuana . have seen if you have smoked marijuana call this atty . lol . Never seen anyone die from marijuana.
