  1. I wish Snooker came on American TV. The only snooker I have ever watched is on Youtube. I love watching all cue sports

  2. Yeah a bit. As good a player and as entertaining as Ronnie is he isn't as likeable as Jimmy White.  The big welsh guy mark williams was a bit of a laugh but he has almost disapeared, most of the rest seem to lack any personality, peter Ebdon clones. Escept maybe Stephen Maguire.

And it isn't so much the top level players as much as the also rans, bill wilbernick, john Virgo and the like.

Cliff Thorburn and Terry Grifiths look like an absolute riot of adventurous play compared to the likes of Dott, Ebdon, McManus

And I can't see Big Break going over too well these days, the players these days are professonal, polished, palstic, balnd, cookie cutter, just like modern pop

  3. like yourself i use to be glued to the tv but i think its  lost its character lots of the old players , like steven hendry, alex higgens, dennis taylor, ray reaedon, steve davis, they where all great to watch they laughted and joked , but know its gone so serious. its lost it spotsmanship .

  4. All cue sports are like that up & down like a yo yo

I miss seeing the older Pool players just like tou guys miss the old Snooker players

Most see the 30s & 40s as the heyday of pool and there were a lot of good players Im fond of the 60s

But just look to the Players still to come .I dont see a real upswing but you never know

  5. still very watchable
