did society move in the direction that Karl Marx theorized in his conflict perspective? Why or Why not

It did and it didnt happen as Marx said:

It did: Marx predicted the accumulation of capital, the resulting imperialism over new marktes, then the great war of capitalism and finally the revolution. This is presicely what happended in Europe.

I didnt: Marx predicted the labourers' conditions will get worse and worse. Then they will seize control and start a class-less society. In reality, the conditions improved and labourers became increasingly indifferent to the revolution.
