Do you think soda tastes better in a can, a bottle or from a soda fountain?

I think it tastes better when it is in a can.

  1. Soda will taste good from any source as long as the right amount of FIZZ is there in it.

    If the FIZZ levels goes down or the Soda becomes flat then it losses taste.


  2. I prefer it from a fountain.

    But It's not so much the taste as it is the giant cup of Ice you get with it.

    It depends on the water quality though. Occasionally I've noticed a chlorine city-water taste from some fountains.

    Second choice for me is a can.  Just because it's easier to drink out of that shape of opening.  Bottles seem to make me swallow more air.

    No an old fashioned glass bottle... That's got a different advantage.  The mass of the glass keeps the soda cold longer.  But  glass bottles are only used for Beer now-a-days.

    Another consideration is that plastic is not as good for the environment as aluminum of glass containers.  Plastic is not as fully recyclable. It has to be re-purposed and not used again to make any type of food container.

  3. When it's good, from a bar is best.

    Otherwise, I like drinking from the can. It seems to have more bubbles that way.

  8. It has to be from a bottle. It has it's own unique taste. Coca-cola and Orange Crush are the best from the bottle.

    Fountain and bottles are too flat for my taste.

  10. An ice cold can from your house is the best. If you are at a gas station the soda fountain because it is the coldest. Bottle to me is never good.
