Do you think softball and baseball will be brought back in 2016?

ya know because the Olympics are in Tokyo and japan is a big baseball/softball country

I heard that 2016 was in Chicago, but oh well...

they probably will bring it back eventually, but I'm not sure about 2016...

No IMO baseball & softball are gone for good.

The host city for the 2016 Olympics has not been announced yet.

The final selection will be made by the full IOC membership on October 2, 2009.

The Candidate Cities on the short list are:

Chicago, United States

Madrid, Spain

Rio de Janeiro, Brazil

Tokyo, Japan

no the ioc is trying to cut back on the number of events bc of cost, participation, and viewership factors
