I'm just curoius to what you all think. When I was job searching, I was treated like c**p buy most of these employers. I don't think employers in supermarkets, resturants, coffee shops, have respect for job applicants. I once applied for a job at a Petsmart, and the manager refused to interview me because I am not a girl.

In retail theres a saying "The costomer are always right." If that saying exist do you think there should be a saying that says "Job applicants are always right."?? So do you really think some employers treat some job applicants badly?

I'm now employed, but I just want to see what you all have to say.

  1. some do and when you find that you don't want to work for that team

  2. Well , I don't know about applying the same motto, but employers would be wise to keep in mind that applicants may also be customers, and show common courtesy and respect.

  3. I would think so. Concidering they would be doing you a favor by giving you the job, I dont think they really care what your opinion of them is. If you dont like them, they just wont hire you. And they'll hire anyone who will suck up to them.

  4. The way employers see it: The customer owns the employer, and the employer owns the employee.

When you first walk into a place, you're assumed to be a customer, so you'll be treated nicely. But once you ask for an application or hand an application in, that's where you cease to be a customer and become an employee, whether you get hired or not. That's where it goes from you owning them to them owning you.
