Do you think some people actually have special powers?

Like do you think that some people have the ablility of telekinises (sp?)

Or some people can read minds?

Yeah, but they're not "special." And reading minds isn't the same as hearing thoughts. Usually it's more of feeling their emotions or kinda of knowing where their thoughts are headed.

Abilities like that can be learned, but the dedication and hard work involved, as well as lots of required time, tend to deter people, as so religious fanatics that say it's either fake or dangerous.

No, as much as I would like to have super powers there are no such things.  Sorry no telekinesis, no telepathy no nothing.

Sure, why not? We can't limit ourselves with what we see and what we have available. Th emind is an amazing thing....think about if we used all of our brain's capacity.

don't want to sound like a weirdo but i always have a connection with energy when I'm really emotional driving under a street light will go out

Yes, some people can read minds and also communicate with animals by the help of telepathy, etc. My father once met a person who could read minds. Standing in front of that person, my father said in his mind that lets see what kind of person is that man. my father said that in his thoughts but that person answered my father, "Here let me tell you what kind of person am I". Its seems weird but I also met him. He really is amazing. You could not beleive what he is capable of.

I think we all have special powers it is just a matter of tapping into them and using them. You have to practice them on a daily basis. If you don't use it you lose it. Young children are especially good at these special powers until they are taught by adults how silly they are and that they don't have special powers, so they stop using them and then as they age they lose them. I use to see ghost when I was a very young child but my Mom kept telling me that there was no such thing. I never believed her. I have always had the ability to see these spirits under certain circumstances.

As a Christian I've struggle with this at times. I have always believed some people can know things ahead of time, read minds & heal each other. But, if you read the bible you will also see people like you and me do this too.

I see them as gifts from God.

I SORT OF believe... but only sort of. I'm sort of just keeping my guard up JUST in case if you know what I mean. It's a freaky thing and I don't want to either A) have someone get in my head B) get freaked out and think I'm going crazy because I find someone with these powers and C) be close-minded.

Of course.  Though I wouldnt call it 'special powers' I would say highly aware or something similar to that.  I wouldnt call it reading minds either.  Its just being able to feel there thoughts.  And just sometimes just know what there thinking.  Also telepathic is similar to "reading minds"  but definitely not the same.  I believe people can do telekinises but on a very very low level.  I think the future will be able to do it on a very high level but thats later on in the future when were gone already.  But yes my answer to your question is definitely yes.:)  May you be blessed.
