... users could actually be able to reach out and touch one another "physically" as well, if they wanted to?

You know, sorta like a much more sophisticated physically-interactive version of a web cam; or do you think that is a total impossibility? ... And NO, I am NOT talking about any Matrix-like technology with the aid of which you might be able to biochemically simulate such a sensation, I am talking about literally being in the physical presence of the other party who maybe thousands of miles away.

[... I'm afraid it maybe passed my bedtime already! :-) ... Anyway, thanks for your comments.]

  1. I sure as heck hope not. The web is already a sesspool of debauchery and sexual deviance. This would just have millions of people who are already cheating on thier wives and families with p**n, cheating on them physically......

To answer the question, yes, I believe such technology could be available at some point. We are not far from understanding wormhole technology, but I doubt we have even close to the control to do something like this yet. But remember 60 years ago the best computers in the world took up whole rooms, and had the processing power of a classic gameboy. Technology is advanceing at an astonishing rate.

Give it 50-100 years and we will have the ability to make such wormholes. I just hope it isnt implemented like this.

  2. Do I think it is possible - no.

But then again 20 years ago I could not have imagined the internet as it is now.

  3. No

  4. Depends.

  5. god, i hope not!

  6. Oh, I hope so!! :-) :-) :-)

(You have to sleep? Shouldn't you get started on inventing that?!? ;-) )

  7. Well it might change the description of cyber s*x...

Anyone wanna look me up when we have that technology?

  8. Short answer: no.

Longer answer:  I can think of no existing technology or mechanism to allow that to happen.  This would be on par with "Beam me up Scotty" technology.  I just don't see what could make that possible.

  9. You mean yours doesn't have it already?  You must have missed an upgrade...
