And will this go against them?

Or, is it better to just do it as a hobby?

  1. Your limited, but you can still do tap dancing or clogging probably.

  2. errmmmm can the rod bend?

If not, I don't see how any companies could hire a dancer that can't do some basic dance steps that involve your back...

  3. How would someone with a metal rod in their spinal column, be able to bend and twist into some of the fantastic forms that professional dancers have to do?

Also, professional dancers may have to practice 10 or 12 HOURS a day...it's hard enough and tiring enough for young people in good physical condition... how would someone with a metal rod in their spine be able to keep up with the jumping and pounding they would have to do?

This is just not a realistic goal.

  4. Probably not, because they would have to have a flexible back and be able to be flowy sometimes and not be stiff in their back.

  5. you may be limited as to which dance moves you can do.  but anything is possible!!!

you just have to put your all into it and do the best you can and i guarantee there will be a standing ovation.
