Do you think something as sick as the movie Hostel by Quentin Tarintino could actually be happening somewhere?

For those of you who have seen the Movie Hostel or Hostel 2, Do you think something like that could actually be really happening somewhere in the world?

I mean each and every year many people from cruise lines and people back packing through Europe go missing. It's a scary thought, but do you think something that terrible could really be happening? Sadly, there's a lot of underground s*x slave trading happening with Russia and other eastern European countries and the Philippines. So why couldn't something like this be happening as well?

So how far fetched is this movie really?

i dont see why it doesnt happen, people go missing all the time, not necessarily in hostels (which are actually quite safe) but yeah its not as far fetched as you think!

The movie was based on a true account....there is a lot of sick people out there. Great movie though, tarantino rules!

Yes.  I would be surprised if there weren't sick stuff like that out there.  Humans are capable of the most horrific c**p.

The writer of the movie got the idea from a real-life website.

It is going on. The despicable treatment of women, children and animals in all parts of the world is reality Hostel.

I don't doubt it Americans are probably the most despised through out the world but the sad thing is most of the blind ones think we are the most idolized and loved.When I was stationed in Cuba they wouldn't let us off the base,for that reason.Im pretty sure some of us wouldn't of come back thanks to the "" hospitality of some of the locals.
