to steal a Buddhist analogy, love is a clear pure reflecting mirrored surface, and it is merely obscured by fear like dust and grime on a mirror.  love will always exist, we just have to realize it as our true nature

Caring more for another than oneself isn't as prevalent as it used to be primarily because of the fast paced world in which we live.  People just don't take the time because they don't think they have the time.  Oddly enough they still have time to care more about themselves than they do others.  Just take a look at all of the "me...me...me" gadgets on the market today...video games, ipods, text messaging, let along the vast array of illegal drugs etc...'most' of them are "all about the user"...all looking for the 'faux' high rather than finding the 'genuine' life sustaining 'high' called...LIFE...

here's a tip for u...

just appreciate and embrace what u have for as long as u have it...

nothing in this world lasts forever.

so whenever u get urself into a relationship u should know that there's always the posibility that u guys might break up.... but u shouldn't think about what could happen, because u don't know what's going 2 happen in the future... he might as well be with u for the rest of ur life, or u guys might be together for a couple of weeks/month...

but for as long as u guys are together i think u should just focus on the present, and live every single second u guys are together like if u didn't have any more... so when u look back , u'll know that you really had a great time and what u guys shared was real until the end.. embrace the good times, and let go of the bad ones...

Yes, as a matter of fact, I do think love still exists in this world.

It isn't as common as "romantic fantasy" and "sexual attraction," but it certainly does exist.

People get confused and think a lot of things that aren't love...  are love.  Then they wonder why it doesn't work out right.

love definitely does. But yes the defination of love has evolved. If one is  stuck on to the old defination of love thats defined by loud expressions, gifts and emotions then one is due for some emotional loss. Love is a feeling that can not be measured in any material terms. It might sound too filmy, but its what the heart yearns and the mind obliges.
