Should I cultivate my talents in order to preserve it from losing it?

My talent is drawing, since I was a kid. And people acknowledge that. But recently I start singing lesson and I can sing either! That's good...the problem is: I've been abandoned my drawing for a long time, and when I start to draw again, my hands start shaking and my sketch goes awry! I have nervous breakdown at cartooning class, cuz I'm so afraid that I can't draw anymore!

Do you think talents fades in time, without practice?

Do you think my voice can be gone, if I'm not practice singing anymore?

  1. No, i myself don't think that talents fade without practice, i mean, have u seen any of the rocky collection? especially the new one?? (They might not be a true story but sometimes u can actually get inspiration out of them, u know?) He stopped fighting and grew old, then got back on his feet and was fit again and lost by split decision point...If u feel u want to do both, then why don't you try singing while you draw?? It could really help to relax and calm you down.

    Well, i hope i helped!! :)

  2. Talent doesn't fade it just stays stagnant and dormant. Your confidence than subsides into nothing whenever the talent comes to play. Trust me, I was declared a child prodigy by a now famous artist at the age of 7. i am 20, going on to 21 now and my artistic talent is still dormant until the day when i develop enough confidence in myself to pick it up again... talk about talent gone to waste :(
