  1. I work as a teacher, and generally have got to the point of ignoring the students who are not paying attention and hope to connect with the engaged students. This is especially true if the class is larger.

  2. Such a general statement for all the teachers of the world.  I pay attention to "my" students and to the students in my school.  I have been called to this profession and I take it very seriously.  Students today are unlike students in my day.  They come to school with many issues and problems and they don't know how to mediate their issues all the time.  Teachers not only teach - but perform duties as mothers, fathers, counselors, and any other form of help.  If you want your student to be successful in life, in his home, as a teacher, you have to pay attention.  Students need us. They need our help and wisdom.  I can speak for myself and for the teachers in my school.  We do care. We do pay attention.

  3. Yes, they are!

  4. I don't think they have time to think about students with all the expectations of them now.  Teachers have to make sure that they get through a ridiculous amount of useless knowledge in a small amount of time.  Secondly, education has become a system of tests instead of a system of high learning.  I love all you teachers out there but you have too much on your plates!

  5. Well that's because it is summer time and all my students are on vacation.  How can I pay attention to what they are doing?

  6. some are and some are not ....... Dr. Abdul Kalam has said that a good student can learn even from a bad teacher but a bad student can never learn even from a good teacher....i am a seasonal good student....
