Do you think technology advancing is a good thing?

well obviously that whole hot shower and running water are good

i'm talking about

cell phones, do we really need a new phone out every week?

like the useless technologies, sure they're cool but it's just something else we all want to buy.

Running water or perhaps you'd like to go to the river and get some and bring it home.

Do you like hot showers or prefer to have a cold bath after you make 30 trips to the river to fill up the bath tub.

Perhaps you would like to get up in the middle of the night and use the outhouse instead of the nice bathroom.

Would you rather ride to town on a horse, or the car?

Would you rather park the car or groom the horse?

Would you rather fill up at the gas station or feed the horse and clean up the c**p in the stable too.

Would you rather git in the covered wagon for 3 weeks to visit your grandparents in Florida or get on the plane for 2 hours to get there?

Would you rather go th the supermarket for groceries or grow everything?

Would you rather take an asprin for your head ache or just wait till it went away.

Would you rather take antibiotics or die?

Yes, of course it's a good thing. Progress is great. If your not changing, your not growing, if your not growing your dyeing. The better our technology is, the more we can do with the short time we are on this planet. Also, technology is the key to colonizing other planets, which is a must for our survive. If one single planetary disaster wipes out all life on earth, we would be gone if we do not spread to other worlds.
