  1. YES! Anytime you can be kind or express good will and expect Nothing in Return is a Humble act.

  2. Well, considering that hostile accusations and verbal attacks don't promote peace and harmony, regardless of the amount, the answer should be obvious.

  3. Can doing something kind and/or friendly do good in the world, no matter how small an act? Yes. I believe so. But can it undo the results of 1000 hostilities? I don't think so.

  4. absolutely

  5. Boxer huh?  Bantay ka karon!

  6. A kind remark, when coming from the heart, heals wounds. The friendly gesture is "Exhibit A' to show how serious the offer of peace and harmony is. When accepted, surely there will be less discord, but more happiness and joy.

Hostile accusations and verbal attacks never settle anything, they only tend to blow up minor issues and make them bigger and "seriouser".

  7. Yes, definitely.

I'm not sure if this is really what you're looking for in an answer, but I think that kind remarks and friendly gestures help not only the recipient but the giver as well.  You know?  I think that peace can be achieved without any violence at all.

  8. Yes, it can.  If the recipient is willing (or want) to accept the kind remark and friendly gesture offered to him. However, if it is in his heart to be vengeful and bitter... and thinks of nothing but to see his enemy groveling...it is better to launch those 1,000 poison-tipped hostile words and verbal attacks.  "Kinsa lang ang mapul-an."
