Do you think that America will win next years World Baseball Classic?

They were a big disappointment last time. What do you think about this time around?

First if the American Judges that pick the teams that go against the US team choose the sucky teams yea. Last time, they chose all of the weak teams to go agianst US. Then they knew they were going to lose to Japan, so they put Japan against Korea. I dont really think they are going to win though. I think maybe Korea or Japan. Korea has been strengthening a lot lately. So has Japan. We'll have to see.

I WAS LUCKY ENOUGH TO ATTEND 8 GAMSE OF THE FIRST WORLD BASEBALL CLASSIC AND I WAS VERY DISAPPOINTED IN WHAT I SAW IN THE AMERICANS. I WAS HOWEVER VERY SUPRISED ON HOW GOOD JAPAN AND KOREA PLAYED. IF I WAS A BETTING MAN I WOULD PROBABLY PUT MY MONEY ON JAPAN OR THE DOMINICAN REPUBLIC. AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST NONE OF THE ROSTERS HAVE BEEN NAMED YET BUT MOST OF THE VENEZUELAN TEAM FROM 2006 HAVE SAID THEY WILL NOT PLAY NEXT YEAR UNLESS THEY MAKE SOME MAJOR FRONT OFFICE TYPE MOVES. I DON'T KNOW WHO WOULD HANDEL THAT KIND OF STUFF BUT THEY SAID THEY WERE THE ONLY TEAM THAT WERE TREATED LIKE A MICKEY MOUSE OPERATION.

I would like to disagree with the doomsayers a little. I've been keeping up with this team, and they have done well in the off title year competitions, even beating Cuba and Japan. This series is going to be big some day, maybe soon . . . .

and to the guy who said the MLB did not play . . .  Clemens was on the team. (um. . .. he did not do well).
