This is a questions I saw on the news, I wanted to see what peoples thoughts are on it. I say YES, an armed society is a polite society! If The government restricts or bans guns to the general public the only people with guns will be the criminals, and then there will be no way to protect ourselves or property because criminals will know we are unarmed if it gets to that point, so crime will continue!!!

  1. i agree with u! i also se the gov. look on it, but i don't agree with it, i think they look at it like this 'if we don't let the public have guns/wepons there will be less on the streets'! no i don't agree with it, but i think thats how the gov. looks at it!!!

  2. Of course. There are only two types of people who support gun control btw.  1. The ignorant who believe somehow that access to a gun magically causes someone to turn into a Homicidal maniac or that has an irrational fear of an inanimate object. 2. Those who seek to have power and authority over the population, how can you dominate and control an armed society after all.

  3. Of course we should be protected. And THe T is an idiot. You teach your kids gun safety early on. And you don't have a round chambered. Thats common safety. If my kids were dumb enough to take the safety off and chamber a round just to accidentally shoot themselves, they deserve whatever they get!

  4. I believe in the Second Amendment. I believe it contains an individual right. The answer is, of course, yes I do believe Americans should be able to keep guns.

  5. YES!! Whole heartedly I think Americans should hold onto and bare arms as necessary.  The cynical part of me says that the government wants to put restrictions on the second amendment because with an unarmed public not only would problems with crime skyrocket beyond what they are now but the government would have further control on the public and this country was built on the people running the government not the government running the people and with people holding on to their weapons the government should quake in fear at the possibilities of general civilians and what they are capable of (this cannot be overemphasized). So yes, quite honestly people really should have the right to hold and bare arms.

  6. Yes, of course

    but..

why must hand-guns always be associated with other guns ?

  7. Yes as long as the guns are legal you don't need an AKA with a 40 round clip to protect your home a good 40 cal will do the job just fine.

  8. Certainly. Of course I'd never claim that's some great, original thought that I came up with. It was exactly what this nation's founders intended.

  9. I disagree with you. If you pay attention to CNN or TV shows like Snapped there are countless stories of wives killing there husbands with there own guns, kids getting a hold of there parents gun and shooting another child, even people who have guns for protection and it being used on them in a criminal attempt. But maybe it'll take some one you love being shot for you to understand.

I find it funny that so many people want the gov't to stay out of their "right" to carry and or own a fire arm because these are the same people who b*tch about the law when a bank is held up, or some kid gets shot to death for no reason, or a girl gets taken rapped and then killed with a shot to the head.

I could keep going on but the point is there are many good tax paying Americans who should be able to own guns, but there are four times as many who aren't so good and shouldn't, so EVERYBODY is safe and so EVERYBODY should have gun control.

  10. Absolutely. To think that we don't have a right to defend ourselves is laughable. I have nothing but good things to say about the police, but they basically come in and clean up the mess after it happens. If you have a chance of surviving an attack, you better be able to defend yourself.
