..and devoid of all that constitutes a worthy expression of the human mind?

Isn't Atheism something completely contrary to all that we intuitively know and value?

Isn't Atheism something that we instinctively feel a sense of revulsion at?

Isn't Atheism a perversion of Reason and a manifestation of a conceited ignorance?

  1. know how you feel, i mean people are so one sided that they cant even tell what is wrong. if people are true to them self and have a strong beliefs in there religion them they should not feel hurt. i think religion is a lie to keep certain groups of people under control, religion give people fake hope of what to come and please dont feel hurt, just give a better answer than this one.

  2. Judging by the things you hear on here, and elsewhere, it is certainly intellectually bankrupt. But so, for that matter, is Christian fundamentalism.

  3. Maybe you do, you k**b. But I can find at least a hundred people on here that will disagree with you.

  4. Atheists are intelligent and not all of them bash Christians.  Some Christians are morally and intellectually bankrupt simply because they call themselves followers of Christ but they judge, condemn and live hypocritical lives.  An Atheist tends to be true to their "non religion". I am a Christian and think that we should live in love and let God's truth shine instead of bashing others for what they believe, or not.  Read the bible - Jesus was gentle and kind. It was the Pharisees who did the bashing and we all know how God feels about the Pharisees (who THOUGHT they were Christians)...  Play nice.

  5. You are always talking about yourself and trying to project all your shortcomings onto us. I would love to vomit your c**p all over you and see how you like it. You are repulsive to human nature. I have ethics. I don't need the handcuffs of morals like you. If you were a good person you wouldn't need any of that c**p either. Intuition? lol You are about as intuitive as a hole in the wall. Jack@$$.

  6. pastor, we get it, you don't like atheism.

    give it a rest already.

  7. Hey, Pasta Windmill the t**d. You just described the history of Christianity. Now put an egg in your shoe and beat it.

    Deist

  8. Not so much...

  9. Quite the opposite actually.

  10. My hypocrite detector just broke. Thanks alot.

  11. No. Easiest question of the day.

  12. Since atheism in an inanimate object...it's impossible of having morals, intelligence, and "a worthy expression of the human mind".

    so yeah....

But do I think atheists are like that? Some...but most I know are really nice, genuine people with a caring heart.

  13. Actually - everyone is morally and intellectually bankrupt.

  14. Umm

I can see how you can twist it to be 'morally wrong' but I doubt you could get any of the other stuff to stick.

  15. uh, no.

    and i'm not even atheist!

seriously, just because you're human doesn't mean you have to believe in some sort of god. it's not required in our genes or anything.

and fyi, isn't religion a 'perversion of reason and manifestation of a conceited ignorance' when it's applied in such a bigoted, biased manner?

pu-lease! this question was a waste of space.

  16. I totally disagree

    you're a troll!

  17. No. Especially not when you consider that many intellectuals and ethicists are atheists.

And no to the other questions as well. Are you even going to try to provide evidence or an argument? If not, your question would seem to be a perversion of Reason.

  18. Not at all

  19. HAHAAHHA.

Yeah, science makes me sooooo dumb.

  20. "Calling Pastor Winthrop to Gate 14. Your plane to the Nation of Platelickin Riff Raff is just about to leave"

  21. No, actually atheists are, by large, much more educated, intelligent, and successful than religious fanatics.

  22. No. In fact, quite the opposite.

Atheism is the default state of a human's spiritual mind without any religious doctrine being forced into them. Most religious institutions are home to at least some moral bankruptcy, but they go one step further and try and justify it by invoking God and other nonsense.

And let's not forget, the only real reason religious folk live their lives the "right" way, is because they're afraid of going to h**l.

Atheists have no such luxury. Likewise, we also have no scriptural obligation to do the "right" thing in our lives, yet many of us do anyway. Who's more moral?

  23. As a believer, I think your giving believers a bad name.  It's not about who believes what that makes them intelligent.  I know smart and stupid believers and atheists alike.  Maybe you feel that way, but that's only your personal opinion, and a bad one at that.

  24. Wow. Someone has been watching some 700 club.

Oh, and the answer is no.

  25. Absolutely.  I agree.  And some of these Atheists who are around here are downright dangerous and thoughtless about other people, and devoid of understanding.  They'd like nothing better than to just kill off all the Christians.

  26. At least we know how to spell hodge podge.

  27. Ugh, you make me mad.

  28. Questioning the logic and reason behind ancient fairy tales is itself using reason. That's why so many of us have ditched Christianity and now call ourselves atheists.

  29. I find you an embarrassment to the teachings of Jesus Christ. When he sent out the 12 apostles he told them if they were not welcome in a town/home to shake the dust off their sandals and move on.

Why don't you just shake off the dust and stop the judgment, condemnation and hatred of your "enemies" and move on? Learn what Christ really taught and LIVE it.

  30. No, no,no, and no.  If you expect a more detailed rebuttal, provide support for your claims.

  31. Absolutely!

    ... no offense, though, Atheists.
