  1. Seeds of globalism - frightening how some people think this might be a good idea.  They're the same people who think that John Lennon's "Imagine" isn't talking about Communism.  The world will never be able to "live as one".....and our country should maintain its sovereignty!!!!

  2. No, Canada is a Commonwealth country just like South Africa, The UK, Australia, New Zealand, Fiji etc we are governed by British laws and have a sovereignty to our Queen and are ruled under a different government.

Commonwealth countries all have strong anti discrimination laws and rights for all citizens who live within Commonweath countries.

None of the Commonwealth countries would allow a very highly and over populated country like in the US into the Commonweath of countries or would ever allow any culled religious bigots, US based religious beliefs or US political, materialistic, stereotyping opinion or nuclear weapons into them as this breaches all strict Commonweath laws and constitutions.

  3. O yes, well that is the idea, only you have to include Mexico, sorry bout that, but we can't leave little Mexico out can we, the heads of the three countries have been having meeting for quite some time now about just that, er have you been asleep and missed it? Anyway you have a great big highway right up through your three countries, er you may have noticed, well anyway ALL your goods are going to come from China, you know all that cheap rubbish, er sorry bout that.  North West Union, is going to be your new name, hope you like it, so there is going to be no more Mexico, America or Canada.  Nice eh?

  4. Yes, only if all Americans pledge their allegiance to her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.  Course that ain't aboot to happen since the celebration of American Independence from Britain seems to be as strong as ever.  Or all American Military Forces must become Peace Keepers.  Course based on the annual cost going towards the US Defense & Military, ya, that also ain't going to happen.

US & Canadian citizens may be similar, but we just ain't the same.

As a Canadian, I really have to say NO.  Just because I like the status quo.

  5. No.

  6. Yes!

Canada is cool and we desperately need more blue states so we'll stop electing all these GOP clowns for President.

  7. Oh h**l no!!!

Frankly, I'd be more for a western US/western Canada alliance and then a seperate eastern canada/us. But that's just a dalliance!

Nothing against Canada folks, I love Canada, however, I think the "h**l no" would be alot louder from the side of the border than it is from the US side....even though we far outnumber them.

  8. I don't think that should happen why subject Canada to what we have been experiencing?

  9. apollo is right it is just a matter of time

  10. Its is what Hitler was wondering about . he was surprised why the US doesn't invade Canada and makes it a part of it . Canada has a little population from 15 to 20 million people . and a very huge land with a lot of resources . uniting with United States practically means that the US is annexing Canada to it's territory . which means the Canadians will just melt in the sweeping majority of Americans . while the French minority in Quebec will loose their cultural identity to the more dominant English-speaking Americans .

  11. (Canada shakes their head NOOOO vigourously) We'll take our chances alone thanks, they say. LMAO!

  12. Yes then we could just take Canadas oil for Free ! good Idea!

  13. NFW!

It would be the ruin of Canada as we know it.  We are a very distinct society with a much better handle on compassion, equality and peace.  300 million Americans would absorb us into their maelstrom of insanity and we would be swallowed up in their greed and selfishness.  Can you imagine what they would do to our natural resources and our pristine wilderness?  I shudder at the thought.

However, it seems our corporate Canadians would sell our country down the river in a heartbeat, with a political push by Mr Harper and his cronies.  To all Canadians: Be vigilant!

  14. NO WAY!!

Americans elect people like bush - twice!!! I love being canadian and i would not want to link up with the states

  15. As a Canadian, I would say no.

Although we have much in common and share many interests, we also are distinct enough that it's preferable we each keep our sovereignty and instead cultivate ties where we need them.

Plus, I think that many of the 33 million Canadians would feel that their voice would be drowned if they joined a common government with 300 million Americans.

  16. No, it would take away our American liberties, which our ancestors fought for.

  17. h**l NO!!!!  It means both countries would LOOSE THEIR SOVEREIGNTY.  Why do you think those over in Europe are FIGHTING AGAINST THE EU???

  18. What would be the benefit? Canada has a distinct and different culture from the United States.

  19. I doubt that Canadians would be for it.  They wouldn't want the baggage that we would bring with us.

  20. Better ask a Canadian this...Why not Mexico as well? That would solve some of our immigration problem...sort of-ish
