Don't know, but I can tell you that in many circles a purity ring is considered a bonus when it comes to targeting girls.

Apparently so. I have never heard of a purity ring so I looked it up and according to the internet the Jonas Bros wear them and Selena Gomez does too.  I remember hearing one time that Lindsay Lohan was asked to pose for playboy (she was already 18), but since she was still in a contract with Disney they told her she couldn't do it.

No, I don't think so.

Well the Jonas Brothers for ones are definately commited to their promise, they come accross genuine.  

The only thing I have a problem with is all the girls these days etc, are wanting rings just because the JB's and other teens have them not because what it actually means, it seems like a new craze or something. As for the others Miley, Selena etc. or whoever has them some you cant tell whether its for publicity or a real genuine promise.

Jonas Brothers had their purity rings before too when they were signed with Sony BMG. So, I don't think so.

Now Selena Gomez.... I'm not so sure. Isn't Selena that girl who came in Barney & Friends?
