  1. I wouldnt worry about it to much.  All champions have bad times in the middle of their careers.  Fed may be not be playing his best this season but he should bounce back, like the champion he is.

  2. Yes. He has too much talent not to. He's had a hard year.  He made it to 2 finals and this is a bad year for him? Most players would kill for that. I think he's just the victim of his own high expections. He'll be back.

  3. he can take a rest and come back strong next year.... hopefully so.. but for this year i think the writing is on the wall.. he will not win a slam.. and he is being beaten by other players..

i do not see him winning the US OPEN this year either... another disapointment for federer before the season closes out.

  4. Yeah im sure he`ll bounce back from that loss. A lot of ppl seem to be writing him off now lol ! But its Roger... and well he just played a bad match against Simon in saying that Gilles really stepped it up and deserved to win. I dont no whats going on with Federer maybe the loss from Wimbledon really hurt him and is still lingering on his mind....

  5. yes, he is still at the top of his game, but his best is not good enough anymore to beat the younger guys.

  6. YOU, BETCHA!!!  I'm a RAFA fan, but have the greatest respect for Roger's game.  He has ALL the weapons in his back pocket, and IF he looses #1 to Rafa, along with 4 loses at Roland Garos, and losing his beloved Wimbledon title all to his #2, he will pull them all out and will be a dogfight for #1 through the end of the year.

  7. This year is very being lucky for spain  so i wish federer to be more alert of nadal

  8. its not the end for Federer. I hope he doesn't lose Cinncy and hope he doesn't lose the usopen. I hope this is the week he comes back.  Maybe he needs another coach. One with a lot of fire. Not some easy going guy.  Also the press is in his head, they should freaking stop asking such stupid questions.

  9. Every great athlete (legends) seem to have a down season and this is definitely Fed's down year.  I remember Tiger went a year without winning a slam but he was changing his swing.  I have to admit that I don't know if I want to watch this happen anymore as I am a little worried now.  I just hope it's just for this season.  I wasn't even worried after Wimbledon but now I'm a little concern.

I just hope that some of the players can keep their celebrations of Fed's downfall to themselves.  I know some might wish ill on him.  Well I know at least one player and his family would do such things.  I know Nadal is sweet so he wouldn't want to make his friend feel bad.
