I thought that he was the leading Sharia lover of the world, which is the opposite of being an intellectual.

If USA still wants to use Feto as a "liberal mild Muslim" to show as an example to the Middle East, let them do it from a US base. We really donot want blubbering religious tarikat leaders in our homeland.

Russia did a good thing by kicking Feto schools out of its soil.

Never heard of him, so not very famous everywhere. And not leading, for to lead you must be known.

well, he conveys Turkish culture to other countries via his schools. and as i know, religion is out of subjects in those schools, you can get education these school whatever is your religion. and these schools are one of the best schools in their countries.

but, if we look his background, we can see he is an extremist of Islam, and he has a huge sect in turkey with people who follows him. so not much people have a good impression on him in turkey. because nothing must be extremist in here.
