Now that GM stock is the lowest its been since 1954 (less htan $10/sh), and Toyota is now kicking butt with Prius sales. Do you think that GM will make a resonably priced electric car that the masses will flock to? OR Will GM release an overpriced electric car (more than 25K) that focuses more on performance that rivals a gasoline engine rather than an economical commuter vehicle?. Do you think GM should re-release the EV-1. Heck they built it once why not produce it again?

Does the government have to mandate EV's in order to get Detroit to produce EV's.

Your thoughts and comments please...

  1. Getting GM to change is like removing a sliver from a fly's *** with boxing gloves on.  It is like getting the worlds largest ship to stop in 5 yards from it's maximum speed.  At $5.00 a share it is still overpriced.  It is the result of arrogant management that runs it like the federal government.  It got what it deserves--failure for arrogant stupidity.

  2. they should bring it the ev1 back! But it wasnt gm's decision to stop making them. Wasnt it congress that had something to do with it?  But them GM went and comfiscated all of the ones they had made.  Something was definitely shady with all that.

In my opinion,  electric cars will never be able to be made on a mass scale because our govt makes way too much money from big oil lobbyists to allow it to happen.
