  1. No, people solve their own problems through representatives, that is why freedom is so important.

  2. Not all of them, but if the world's governments don't do something drastic about the big ones, like global warming, we are all in very deep trouble.

  3. No because they have caused the majority of mankind's problems, with their lust for power, conquest of control, and their greed. Only we can solve our problems by depending on ourselves as individuals and becoming one with each other so that we may evolve spiritually.

  4. Governments CAN NOT solve mankind problems, however.. they can aid in finding right solutions EITHER THAT OR they can make mankind problems even worse.

  5. Gov't has been bought off by business for decades and the public never caught on; i.e.,  mankind is doomed --  God's truth -- global warming is now unstoppable, so send your clothes home to mama..

  6. the problem is that economic neccesity and short sighted planning often hinder governmenst ability to effectively solve the largest problem. in addityion, these problems would require an impossible level of cooperation between all nations, including one's at war! the only way were gonna solve these huge issues, mainly environmental, is to get to the points when were so ****** we have no other choiuce. and even then we may still fail. good luck world!

  7. Governments represent the interest of their people so they wouldn't likely be useful to solving the problems of the whole.  Most governments contribute much more to problems than have solutions to them.   The only way government could possibly help solve mankinds problem would be to get out of the way of those that might actually be able to help.  The only political groups that  pretend to tackle problems of that magnitude with government always do more harm than good.
