More specifically, do you think that Warner Brothers thought that another movie of the same genre type would steal too much of their money?

  1. Yes I just heard about that yesterday. I think they were both moved because they didn't want them to come out to close together.

  2. They're not really the same genre. Kinda but no. I think both movies are going to make a lot of money but I think twilight might make more. The 5th harry potter was kind of a disappointment. =) But I can't wait till they come out!

  3. yeah its kind of like iron man , hulk  and batman their gonna be seperate but not too far apart

  4. Yes,  I specifically think that this is why the HP movie was moved to summer.  I mean,  what other movies of that genre type are generally released in the summer?  Let me answer that for you.... None!   Monopoly on the market for HP is theirs for the taking in the summer, lol!

  5. Yes off course you're right Harry Potter moved off it's date because of Twilight only

  6. I don't think so. The decision to move the movie was honestly plain out for money reasons. They believe they will get more money during the summer season than in the fall season. Also NLC just dropped a lot of films that WB picked up so they are trying to put all of those out. People think that HP pulled out because of Twilight, but honestly, Twilight isn't gonna take over Harry anytime soon. 17 years that series has been in the making, and the movies are still coming

  7. I think WB is just greedy. Tell them they are.

  8. Twilight took that release date AFTER Harry Potter was moved, so no.

They must have delayed the release for other reasons, money, or perhaps some editing issues etc.
