Do you think that Jeff Burton's "best is yet to come" this year?

I'm a Kevin Harvick and RCR fan, and Jeff Burton is my 2nd favorite driver... and I heard Burton say 2-3 times today in different interviews that "his best is yet to come".

Do you really think it is?

If Burton can have some good qualifying runs so he's not stuck in the back on the starts he'll have some good finishes and make his comeback. He's still got a lot of good racing left in him.

I like Burton very much, but I think what we have seen this year is pretty standard for him. Consistent with some bad luck, and one win thrown in. I could stand to see him win a championship, but I think we are looking at another Mark Martin in the make.

i do like burton but sorry i think his best has already passed, i would say he still had a chance if it wasn't for the exact same thing happening to him last year.

Not really, he's started to fade away during the past month. Don't know how much consistency he has left in him.

Well, it's hard to say....Burton is one of those drivers that you should never count out. I would say yes...just because of his "never say quit" attitude.

I love Jeff and hated to see what happened to him tonight.  I hope that he gets back up where he belongs (2nd...lol) and maybe next year will be his year.  he was doing so well this season but gets caught up in someone elses mistake. .

I think if you are a Kevin Harvick fan you already know the answer to this. RCR has steadily improved all year and I think once the chase starts everyone will see exactly how much. Just look at Kevin. He has not only been running well at his good tracks like Bristol, but even at some of his worst ones like Michigan and Pocono. That just goes to show that this organization has gotten its stuff together. Sure Clint has ran into some trouble these past few races but I'm still firm in my prediction that all 3 RCR cars will make the chase and at least 1 of them will be a threat to Kyle and Carl.
